With 25 years at the top of international and Premier League football, Roberto has left an indelible mark in performance psychology. His career spans all levels of the game, from non-league to international football. It all began as a coach at Crystal Palace FC and Brighton & Hove Albion FC. As a former semi-pro player, Roberto’s deep understanding of football culture naturally helped him transition seamlessly into sports psychology.
Over the years, Roberto has worked with top managers like Steve Coppell, Alan Pardew, Chris Hughton, Alan Curbishley, Chris Powell, Alan Smith, and Wally Downes. Notably his influence is most evident in West Ham United’s historic Premier League survival. Despite the tough challenge, Roberto played a key role in transforming the team’s mindset, helping them win seven out of the last nine games.

Roberto’s expertise extends beyond the pitch. He has served as a sought-after consultant for major football organisations such as the Football Association, The League Managers Association, and numerous premier league clubs. Furthermore, his collaborations include high-profile players like Carlos Tevez, Freddie Ljungberg, and numerous England Internationals.
