Boasting a background that spans every tier of the game, from non-league to international, his journey began as a coach at Crystal Palace FC and Brighton & Hove Albion FC. A former semi-pro player turned coach, Roberto's innate understanding of football culture paved the way for his transition into sports psychology.

Throughout the years, Roberto has collaborated with top-tier managers, including Steve Coppell, Alan Pardew, Chris Hughton, Alan Curbishley, Chris Powell, Alan Smith, and Wally Downes. His impact is evident in the unprecedented end-of-season run with West Ham United, where, facing an uphill battle, he played a pivotal role in transforming the team's mindset and performance, leading them to an extraordinary Premier League survival by winning seven out of the last nine games.

Beyond his contributions to individual teams, Roberto has been a sought-after consultant for prominent football entities such as the Football Association, The League Managers Association, and various premier league clubs, including West Ham United, Southampton, Brighton & Hove Albion, Norwich City, Fulham FC, and Charlton Athletic FC. His extensive experience encompasses collaboration with high-profile performers like Carlos Tevez, Freddie Ljungberg, and numerous England Internationals.
