Coppell uses Sport Psychologist

Albion boss Steve Coppell names an unchanged line-up for the tussle against mid-table Rotherham at wet and windy Withdean. Coppell has resisted the temptation to tinker with the team beaten 1-0 at relegation rivals Stoke on Wednesday. That made it consecutive defeats without scoring a goal for the inconsistent Seagulls after a hat-trick of victories.

Anthony Rougier, on loan from Reading for a month, continues upfront with Bobby Zamora. Rougier came off the bench to grab the only goal in Albion’s previous home game against Millwall. Gary Hart was completing a four-match ban, while injuries continued to rule out Michel Kuipers, Paul Kitson and Robbie Pethick.

Coppell revealed in his programme notes that he has been using a sports psychologist friend Rob Forzoni in preparation for matches.
