Murray sees his psychologist

Andy Murray has admitted that he has consulted a sports psychologist in a bid to overcome fears of risking his injured wrist in the heat of competition.

The British No 1 made his admission as he prepared for the US Open amid growing suspicion within some quarters of the game that his relationship with coach Brad Gilbert may be approaching a rift over the Scot’s reluctance to test his injury.
