Emma Raducanu has become quite a name these past couple of weeks Being the last GB female left standing at Wimbledon during week 2, and progressing to the fourth round, has shot this future star to everyone’s attention. What can she take from her Wimbledon experience?
Despite going out in such a disappointing way, Emma can take many positives from the experience. Simply playing her first Slam is a great learning experience, but dealing with the pressure of media, press interviews, playing in front of the largest crowds she has played against, beating top-class opposition, will all be absolute positives in which to build for, what looks like, a very promising future. She will also learn from the things that didn’t quite go to plan.
A pleasure to be invited to speak with Nick on Radio 4 this morning.
